School of Open Learning (SOL) formerly known as The School of Correspondence Courses and Counting Education and affiliated to the University of Delhi was established in 1962. It is a pioneer Institution in the field of Distance Education in India. The School offers UG and PG Courses in the field of Arts and Commerce. At present, SOL Delhi University offers BA, B.A (H) , B.Com (Hons.) at UG level and M.Com & MA under various disciplines at the PG level.

The SOL offers to learn through distance education mode which is a viable alternative for students who need a flexible medium of instruction to attain higher education and vocational skills.

SOL Application form cum prospectus can be obtained either from the Main Center at North Delhi Campus or from the South Study Center at South Moti Bagh, New Delhi. For UG courses, the application form can also be filled online through the official SOL website followed by document verification.

SOL DU UG Admission 2021

At UG level, SOL DU offers B.A (P), BA (Hons.), and B.Com, B.Com (H) courses in various disciplines. 10+2 with the cognate subject and the desired percentage of marks is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission. The admission is completely merit-based. The candidates are called for document verification and seat allotment as per the cut off lists published from time to time during the admission cycle.

SOL DU UG Eligibility Criteria
For getting admission into BA (Prog.) / B.Com, candidates must have passed 10+2 with 40% aggregate (36% for OBC and 38% for PWD) in the best five subjects.
For taking admission into BA (H) in English, candidates must have passed in 10+2 with 60% aggregate marks (54% for OBC and 57% for PWD) and 70% marks (63% for OBC and 66.5% for PWD) in English OR 60% marks (54% for OBC and 57% for PWD) in English elective/ functional English provided a candidate has appeared in a paper in the subject of English carrying a credit of 100 marks along with one language + three academic subjects (vocational stream is not allowed)
For taking admission into BA (H) in Political Science, candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks (45% for OBC and 47.5% for PWD) with one subject and three academic subjects
For taking admission into B.Sc (H), candidates must have passed 10+2 with 55% (49.5% for OBC and 52.25% for PWD) in best four without vocational subject or 60% with a vocational subject
No minimum qualifying marks criteria for SC/ST. A pass in 10+2 is sufficient for SC/ST candidates

Log in and fill the application form with respect to all the necessary details
Upload the required documents and click on submit
Pay the registration fees online and save the final Application form
Print the fee receipt and print the ID Card
Visit the designated SOL center and get your document verified
